Mary was born in May 1833 in Wybunbury and her baptism took place there on May 12th, 1833.¹²

Birth Notes

Mary's father was Joseph Galley and her mother was Ellen Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were John Brereton and Ellen Latham. She had five brothers and a sister, named John, Thomas, Joseph, William, George and Ellen. She was the youngest of the seven children.
