10 Jul 1836, Edward Entwistle was baptised. Son of John a Tailor and Rachel.

1846, Edward immigrated to the USA.  The NY record of inmates shows when he was 72 he had been in the US for 62 years)

In 1850 Edward Entwistle (14) is in New Hartford, Oneida, New York with Catherine and Ralph Entwistle (59 & 56), possibly grandparents, and Ellen and Martha Entwistle (20 & 14) and others.

9 Mar 1878, Edward and Ellen had their four children baptised second Sunday in Lent, at All Souls Church, New York.

In 1880, Edward and Ellen (42 & 41) were living in New York City, USA with Charles (15), James (13), Ida (11) and John (7)

In 1893, Edward married Margaret Knapp in NY.

In 1895, Edward may have gone by the name Edward Knapp (see Iowa State census). TBC.

In 1900, Edward and Maggie Entwistle (65 & 49) were at WeStreet, 61 Street, Manhattan, New York with James (33) and John (25) and three of Maggie's children.

In 1905, Edward and Miggie (68 & 51) were in New York.

In 1910, Edward (73) a Produce Merchant,was living with his daughter Ida Bingham (37) on 49th Street, New York

25 Feb 1910, Edward Entwistle (72) was destitute and admitted to the Almshouses (poor house) for one day.  His parents were recorded as John (Entwistle) a Tailor and Rachel Mather, both from England.  He had a daughter Ida Binghham. Discharged 26 Feb 1910.
