Ethel was born in March 1898 in Middleton.¹

Birth Notes

Ethel's father was Clifford Davies and her mother was Alice Ann Thorpe. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Thorpe and Nancy Mather. She had two brothers and three sisters, named George, Thomas, Florrie, Alice and Nellie. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died in March 1898 in Middleton.¹
