Martha Jane Darlington

Martha was born in June 1873 in Barrow.¹ Martha's father was Benjamin Darlington and her mother was Jane Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Martha Hughes. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Benjamin, Job, Mary, Annie and Mary. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 16 in July 1889 in Cheshire.²
