William Crosland

William was born in December 1734 in Butternab and his baptism took place on December 14th, 1734 in Almondbury.¹

William's father was John Crosland Jnr and his mother was Hanah Breadly.  His paternal grandparents were John Crosland Snr and Anne Royd. He had three brothers named Joseph, Jonathan and Thomas.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named James, Stephen and Charles.  He died at the age of 87 in 1821.  He was buried.
