Thomas Crosland

Thomas was born in 1741 in Butternab and his baptism took place on February 3rd, 1741 in Honley conducted by Vicar Edward Rishton.¹

Thomas' father was John Crosland Jnr and his mother was Hanah Breadly. His paternal grandparents were John Crosland Snr and Anne Royd. He had three brothers named William, Joseph and Jonathan. He was the youngest of the four children. He had three half-brothers named James, Stephen and Charles. He died at the age of 49 in July 1790 in Berry Brow. His burial was on July 13th, 1790 in Almondbury.²²
