John William Crosland

John was born in April 1834 in Huddersfield and his baptism took place on July 27th, 1834 in Highfield (Independent).¹²

John's father was John Crosland and his mother was Elizabeth West. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Crosland and Mary Kinder. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Henry, Selina, Martha, Ellen, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the seventh oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 71 on November 25th, 1905.³
