Henry Crosland

Henry was born on June 22nd, 1823 in Huddersfield and his baptism took place on August 31st, 1823 in Highfield (Independent).¹²

  Henry Crosland, son John Crosland and Elizabeth his wife of the parish of Huddersfield.

Henry's father was John Crosland and his mother was Elizabeth West. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Crosland and Mary Kinder. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, John, Selina, Martha, Ellen, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 48 in May 1872 in Paddock. His burial was on May 27th, 1872 in Holmfirth.³
