General Notes
There are two possible Almondbury marriages for James: 1826 Martha Gledhill (both of Crossland) 1829 Ann Taylor (both of Crossland) There are three possible Bradford marriages: 1824 James (weaver) & Elizabeth Pollard 1830 James (cloth drawer) & Mary Clegg 1830 James (no town) & Hannah Cock
Of the 5 marriages (above), Mary and Hannah are likely, and since the 1851 census shows James born Berry Brow with Hannah, this is therefore assumed to be the correct marriage, but which Hannah? Is must be Hannah Cock, as the census shows us that the James Crosland and Hannah Lockwood couple (m.1822) were born about 1800.
