John Crook

John was born in September 1839 in Bolton.¹

John's father was Jacob Crook and his mother was Jane Robinson. His paternal grandparents were John Crook and Ann Tommason. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Joseph, James, Thomas, Ann, Sarah, Rachel, Martha and Martha. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 79 on March 11th, 1919 in Bolton.²

- John married Elizabeth and they lived in Portsea, Hampshire for a short while, which is where Jacob was born. They then came back to Bolton.
