Martha was born in June 1849 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes

Martha's father was Jacob Crook and her mother was Jane Robinson. Her paternal grandparents were John Crook and Ann Tommason. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, Edward, Joseph, James, Thomas, Ann, Sarah, Rachel and Martha. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at 9 months old in March 1850 in Bolton.¹
