Sarah Ann Collings

Sarah was born in June 1868 in Newchurch in Rossendale.¹

Sarah's father was Abraham Collings and her mother was Sarah Ann Asten. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Collins and Ann Mather. She had a brother and three sisters, named Ephriam, Mary, Elizabeth and Amelia. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 75 on January 13th, 1944 in Oswaldtwistle.²

- 22 July 1888, Sarah married George Thomas Taylor at Oswaldtwistle and they had a son Herbert, a secretary.
