Melicent Ashworth

Melicent was born in 1774 in Newchurch in Rossendale and her baptism took place on February 13th, 1774 in Goodshaw.¹²

- Melicent Ashworth was baptised in 1774, the daughter of "Jhn" and Betty Ashworth of Blacklayn Head Hennards.
  
  In 1796, Melicent married Edmund Madder (or Mather) of Lower Booths at Haslingden.
  
  In 1803, Edmund died and in 1806 Melicent of Lower Booths married Thomas Howarth at Haslingden.
