Sarah was born in 1756 in Oldham and her baptism took place on February 8th, 1756 at St. Marys (Oldham).1  Sarah's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Hannah Crossley.  Her paternal grandparents were James Buckley Jnr and Sarah Cooper. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, Abraham and Betty.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Josiah, Benjamin, Benjamin, John, Mary, Anne and Ann.  She died at the age of 4 on July 7th, 1760 in Oldham.  Her burial was on July 7th, 1760 at St. Marys (Oldham).1
