Sarah's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Hannah Crossley.  Her paternal grandparents were James Buckley Jnr and Sarah Cooper. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, Abraham and Betty.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Josiah, Benjamin, John, Mary, Anne and Ann.  She died at the age of 4 on July 7th, 1760 in Oldham.  She was buried on July 7th, 1760 at St. Marys (Oldham).¹
