Anne Buckley

Anne was born about 1772 in Oldham and her christening took place on March 11th, 1772 at St. Marys (Oldham).¹

  There is another Ann, daughter of James Buckley from Bory, baptised 25 Dec 1772 who died 1773.

Anne's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Sarah Ogden.  Her paternal grandparents were James Buckley Jnr and Sarah Cooper. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Josiah, Benjamin, John, Mary and Ann.  She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James, Abraham, Sarah and Betty.  She died in 1772 in Oldham.
