Betty Buckley

Betty was born in 1760 in Oldham and her baptism took place on January 6th, 1760 at St. Marys (Oldham).¹

Betty's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Hannah Crossley. Her paternal grandparents were James Buckley Jnr and Sarah Cooper. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, Abraham and Sarah. She was the youngest of the four children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Josiah, Benjamin, John, Mary, Anne and Ann.
