Margaret was born on June 11th, 1910 in Baltimore. Margaret's father was Franklin William Brooks and her mother was Annie Elizabeth Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Cowley Mather and Elizabeth Cooper. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Arthur, Walter, Lawrence, Howard, Bertha, Helen and Emma. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 81 on February 11th, 1992 in Baltimore.
