Elizabeth arrived 1848 and/or 1850 from England, presumably with her family as she was only a child and didnt marry for another 16 years.
In 1870, Samuel and Elizabeth Mather (25 & 23) are in Baltimore with son David N Mather. Also present are Amalley Mather (45, Washerwoman), Peter (19) and Sarah Ellen (14). This is probably her mother and two siblings.
Elizabeth and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony on September 19th, 1866 in Baltimore County.2 They had four sons and four daughters, named David, John, Samuel, Harrison, Ellen, Ida, Annie and Viola. There are no more children.
