Fred Brooks

Fred was born in June 1914 in Chorley.¹

Fred's father was Wilbraham Robert Brooks and his mother was Mary Alice Banks. His maternal grandparents were John Banks and Mary Higson. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Wilbraham, Leslie, Ethel, Emily, Ann, Mary, Eliza, Esther and Edith. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 2 in June 1916 in Chorley.²
