Minnie was born on September 6th, 1875 at Egerton.¹

Minnie's father was Samuel Brereton and her mother was Ellen Humphreys. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Martha Hughes. She had two brothers and a sister, named Evan, Thomas and Jessie. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 86 on August 12th, 1962 in North Carolina (NC).²
