Hannah was born in January 1777 in Acton by Nantwich. Hannah's father was Thomas Brereton and her mother was Hannah Vicars. Her paternal grandparents were John Brereton and Maria (Mary) Blackmore. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named Randle, Thomas, George, John, George, Ann, Elizabeth, Betty, Sarah, Frances, Catherine and Jane. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen known children. She died at the age of 44 on January 1st, 1821 in Acton by Nantwich. She was buried on January 1st, 1821 in Acton by Nantwich.¹
