Hannah's father was Samuel Brereton and her mother was Jane Whittingham. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Constantine, James, George, Thomas, Jane, Mary, Ann, Martha and Betty.  She was the youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 4 in December 1801 in Stapeley.  She was buried on December 16th, 1801 in Wybunbury.¹
