Birth Notes

Charles' father was Thomas Brereton and his mother was Sarah Jones. His paternal grandparents were George Brereton and Margaret Taylor. He had a brother and six sisters, named George, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Maria, Fanny and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Margaret.
