Elizabeth Booth

Elizabeth was born in 1822 in Tonge-with-Haulgh and her baptism took place on February 24th, 1822 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Elizabeth's father was James Booth and her mother was Mary Shippobottom. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Booth and Ann Openshaw. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William, James, Thomas, Mary, Ann and Sarah. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
