Edward Bennett

Edward was born on March 7th, 1835 in Wepre.¹

Birth Notes
- Aged 6 in 1841 at Wepre
  Aged 16 in 1851

Edward's father was Edward Bennett and his mother was Elizabeth Hughes. His paternal grandparents were Edward Bennett and Mary Hughes. He had six brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Humphrey, Benjamin, Benjamin, Thomas, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the second oldest of the nine children.

General Notes
- In 1881, Edward and Jane were living at Coffin Row, Wepre.
  
  In 1891, Edward and Jane (56 & 47) were living in Connah's Quay with their daughter Elizabeth (19).
  
  Later in 1891, Edward was accidently drowned at Mostyn Deeps, on the Dee eastury, near Holywell (see attached news clip).

Occupation Details
- From 1851 Edward's occupation was Mariner in Northop. He died in 1891 while still employed there.

- Edward was a neighbour of Robert John Mather.
