The Will with a Codicil of Edward Bennett formerly of Connahs Quay but late of Wepre in the County of Flint, Master Marriner who died 8 November 1877 at Wepre was proved at St. Asaph by Humphrey Bennett and Thomas Bennett both of Connahs Quay Mariners the Sons the Executors.

In 1841, Edward's wife Elizabeth (25) was with William (8), Edward (6), John (4) and Elizabeth (2) at Wepre. Edward was missing.
In 1851, Edward (42) and Elizabeth (37) were at Golftyn, Northop with Edward (16), John (14), Elizabeth (11), Humphrey (9) and Mary Ann (2)
In 1861, sons Benjamin (10) and Thomas (7) were with their mother Elizabeth Bennet (48, Mar, Marriner's wife) at Golftyn. Edward wasn't there!
