Ida was born on November 9th, 1879 in Audenshaw and her baptism took place there on January 14th, 1880.¹²

Birth Notes

Ida's father was John Barstow and her mother was Mary Buckley. Her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Buckley and Patience (Patricia) Oldham. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Arundel, Beatrice, Florence and Edith. She was the third youngest of the six children.
