Susan Roberts 
Susan was born in 1808 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Susan's father was Thomas Roberts and her mother was Sarah Joyce. Her paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Elizabeth Lightfoot. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Henry, Richard, James, John, Thomas Jefferson, Margaret, Elizabeth, Nancy, Matilda and Sarah Anne. She was the third youngest of the twelve children.1 General Notes
