Matilda Roberts 
Matilda was born on September 9th, 1805 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Matilda's father was Thomas Roberts and her mother was Sarah Joyce. Her paternal grandparents were James Roberts and Elizabeth Lightfoot. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Henry, Richard, James, John, Thomas Jefferson, Margaret, Elizabeth, Nancy, Susan and Sarah Anne. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died in Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried in Stone Family Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.1 2 General Notes
