Rachel Elizabeth Tate 
Rachel Elizabeth was born on September 9th, 1867.1 Rachel Elizabeth's father was George Washington Tate and her mother was Rachel Whitaker. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Nelson Tate and Mary "Polly" Squires; her maternal grandparents were John Whitaker and Martha "Patsy" Stevens. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John Lannes, Samuel Whitaker, George Thomas, James Richard, William Levi, Martha Jane, Mary Emma, Rebecca Ann, Margaret Katherine and Frances Lavina. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 27 in 1894.1 -
