Frances Lavina Tate 
Frances Lavina was born on January 22nd, 1872.1 Frances Lavina's father was George Washington Tate and her mother was Rachel Whitaker. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Nelson Tate and Mary "Polly" Squires; her maternal grandparents were John Whitaker and Martha "Patsy" Stevens. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John Lannes, Samuel Whitaker, George Thomas, James Richard, William Levi, Martha Jane, Mary Emma, Rebecca Ann, Margaret Katherine and Rachel Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 34 in 1906.1 -
