Sarah Ann Mew 
Sarah Ann was born about 1804 in SC.1 Sarah Ann's father was Macamee Mew and her mother was Ann Rutledge Smith. Her paternal grandfather was Philip Mew; her maternal grandparents were James Smith and Margaret Moore Sanders. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Samuel K., Henry, John Pringle, Abraham, Alexander C., Mary Margaret, Harriet Elizabeth and Rebecca. She was the second oldest of the nine children.1 -
