Henry Mew 
Henry was born about 1805 in Beaufort Dist., SC.1 Henry's father was Macamee Mew and his mother was Ann Rutledge Smith. His paternal grandfather was Philip Mew; his maternal grandparents were James Smith and Margaret Moore Sanders. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Samuel K., John Pringle, Abraham, Alexander C., Sarah Ann, Mary Margaret, Harriet Elizabeth and Rebecca. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died about 1854 in SC.1 -
