Margaret Jean was born on December 4th, 1862 in Bucyrus, OH.1 Margaret Jean's father was John Messner and her mother was Margaret Catherine Gardner. Her paternal grandparents were Christian Messner and Eleanora; her maternal grandparents were James Gardiner and Mary McGinnis. She had a brother and five sisters, named Joseph John, Mary Ellen, Martha, Ida Belle, Harriet Dora and Jessie Jane. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named Thomas William. She died due to Senility at the age of 80 on May 3rd, 1943 in Port Clinton, Wyandot, OH. She was buried in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky, OH.1 1 -
