John Messner 
John was born in 1750 in East Earl, Dauphin, PA.1 John's father was Casper Messner and his mother was Anna Barbara Elkhardt. His paternal grandparents were Michael Messner and Salome Reister. He had a brother and four sisters, named Michael, Maria Barbara, Catharine, Dorothea and Margaretha. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 in 1821 in Dauphin Co. PA.1 -
