Thomas Jefferson Evans 
Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13th, 1834 in Screven Co., GA.1 Thomas Jefferson's father was Hezekiah Evans and his mother was Sarah Moore. His paternal grandparents were Reuel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Slater; his maternal grandparents were John Moore and Marcia McCall. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Ruel, Hezekiah Charles, James W., George King, Martha Elizabeth, Sarah Marcia Lucretia and Mary Ann L.. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 29 on August 3rd, 1863.1 General Notes
