Martha Elizabeth Evans 
Martha Elizabeth was born on February 22nd, 1822 in Screven Co., GA.1 Martha Elizabeth's father was Hezekiah Evans and her mother was Sarah Moore. Her paternal grandparents were Reuel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Slater; her maternal grandparents were John Moore and Marcia McCall. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John Ruel, Hezekiah Charles, James W., George King, Thomas Jefferson, Sarah Marcia Lucretia and Mary Ann L.. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 70 on November 11th, 1892.1 General Notes
