Hezekiah Charles Evans 
Hezekiah Charles was born in 1823 in Screven Co., GA.1 Hezekiah Charles' father was Hezekiah Evans and his mother was Sarah Moore. His paternal grandparents were Reuel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Slater; his maternal grandparents were John Moore and Marcia McCall. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Ruel, James W., George King, Thomas Jefferson, Martha Elizabeth, Sarah Marcia Lucretia and Mary Ann L.. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 26 on April 7th, 1849.1 General Notes
