George King Evans 
George King was born in 1832 in Screven Co., GA.1 George King's father was Hezekiah Evans and his mother was Sarah Moore. His paternal grandparents were Reuel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Slater; his maternal grandparents were John Moore and Marcia McCall. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Ruel, Hezekiah Charles, James W., Thomas Jefferson, Martha Elizabeth, Sarah Marcia Lucretia and Mary Ann L.. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 32 in 1864. He was buried in Atlanta, GA.1 1 General Notes
