Joshua Downing 
Joshua was born about 1580 in St. Nicholas, Ipswich, Suff., England.1 Joshua's father was George Downing and his mother was Miss Bellamy. His paternal grandparents were Jeffrey Downing and Elizabeth Wingfield. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Emanuel, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Elnathan, Nahomie and Anne. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Joseph, James, John, George, Susan, Dorcas and Elizabeth. He died in (wp) Of Chatham, Kent, England.1 -
