Joseph Downing 
Joseph was born in 1583 in St. Nicholas, I., England.1 Joseph's father was George Downing and his mother was Dorcas Blois. His paternal grandparents were Jeffrey Downing and Elizabeth Wingfield; his maternal grandparents were William Bloys and Cecily Wingfield. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, John, George, Susan, Dorcas and Elizabeth. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joshua, Joseph, Emanuel, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Elnathan, Nahomie and Anne. He died in Salem, MA ?.1 General Notes
