Agnes M. was born on October 22nd, 1881 in Screven Co., GA.1 Agnes M.'s father was James J. Downing and her mother was Evalina Evans. Her maternal grandparents were John Ruel Evans and Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. She had five brothers and a sister, named John Willie, Mell, Mark, Joseph Ernest, Ernest E. and Eva Jane. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert L., Carl C., Uhlma and Lucille. She died at the age of 84 on January 5th, 1966 in Screven Co., GA.1 General Notes
