George Wales Cushing 
George Wales was born on February 8th, 1836.1 George Wales' father was Seth Cushing and his mother was Persis Peabody Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Seth Cushing and Hannah Bonney; his maternal grandparents were Elias Thomas and Mary Alden. He had three brothers named Charles, Thomas Seth and Horace Gay. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 26 on October 29th, 1862 in Wyoming, New York.1 -
