Seth Cushing 
Seth was born in 1705.1 Seth's father was Theophilus Cushing and his mother was Mary Thaxter. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Cushing and Lydia Gilman; his maternal grandparents were John Thaxter and Elizabeth Jacob. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Nehemiah, David, Abel, Theophilus, Mary, Rachel, Mary, Deborah and Lydia. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 84 in 1789 in Plympton, Mass..1 General Notes

He was an Inn Keeper at Hingham, and moved to Plympton, Mass., with his family in 1753,where he died in 1789, and is buried in the North Burying Ground near his home.
