Seth Cushing 
Seth was born on April 18th, 1762 in Plymptom, Mass..1 Seth's father was Seth Cushing and his mother was Lydia Everson. His paternal grandparents were Seth Cushing and Lydia Fearing; his maternal grandparents were James Everson and Hannah. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named James, John, Hannah, Mary, Lydia, Sarah, Susanna, Rachel and Ruth. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 in 1835 in Homer, New York.1 General Notes

Seth Cushing served in the Rev. War, first, at the age of 13 years, as his father's [Col. Seth Cushing's] servant, and later, at the age of 17 years, he served, as private, 8 months and 3 days in Capt. John Harlow's Co., Col. Erza Woods Regt.
