Sarah Alma Blackburn

Sarah Alma was born on October 18th, 1893 in Screven Co., GA.¹   Sarah Alma's father was James Marion Blackburn and her mother was Frances Mozell Powell.  Her paternal grandparents were William Blackburn and Mary Jane Waters. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin William, Charles Henry, Rollo James, Lawrence Harry, Ellie, Lillie, Vara, Temperence and Ila Jane.  She was the third youngest of the ten children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Dorcas.  She died at the age of 64 on January 25th, 1958.¹
