Benjamin William Blackburn

Benjamin William was born on February 6th, 1879 in Screven Co., GA.¹   Benjamin William's father was James Marion Blackburn and his mother was Frances Mozell Powell.  His paternal grandparents were William Blackburn and Mary Jane Waters. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Charles Henry, Rollo James, Lawrence Harry, Ellie, Lillie, Vara, Temperence, Ila Jane and Sarah Alma.  He was the oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Dorcas.  He died at the age of 90 on June 26th, 1969 in Screven Co., GA.  He was buried in Screven Co., GA.^1 1
