Llewellyn Powell 
Llewellyn was born on September 18th, 1802 in Upperville, Virginia, USA.1 Llewellyn's father was Cuthbert Powell and his mother was Catherine Simms. His paternal grandparents were Levin Powell and Sally Harrison; his maternal grandparents were Charles Simms and Nancy Douglas. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Charles Leven, Cuthbert, John Simms, Ann, Mary Emily, Ellen, Jane Simms and Frances. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 on July 19th, 1870 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky, USA.1 -
