Charles Leven Powell 
Charles Leven was born on April 14th, 1804 in Upperville, Virginia, USA.1 Charles Leven's father was Cuthbert Powell and his mother was Catherine Simms. His paternal grandparents were Levin Powell and Sally Harrison; his maternal grandparents were Charles Simms and Nancy Douglas. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Llewellyn, Cuthbert, John Simms, Ann, Mary Emily, Ellen, Jane Simms and Frances. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 91 on April 10th, 1896 in Alexandria, Virginia, USA.1 -
