Ann Powell 
Ann was born in January 1800 in Leesburg, Virginia, USA.1 Ann's father was Cuthbert Powell and her mother was Catherine Simms. Her paternal grandparents were Levin Powell and Sally Harrison; her maternal grandparents were Charles Simms and Nancy Douglas. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Llewellyn, Charles Leven, Cuthbert, John Simms, Mary Emily, Ellen, Jane Simms and Frances. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 97 on December 20th, 1897 in Alexandria, Virginia, USA.1 -
